The Community Service District (CSD) is responsible for the community's waste water discharge and potable water systems. The CSD retains professional engineering firms to maintain these systems, conduct required quality testing and make the required reports to Placer County and the State of California.
The CSD is a Placer County entity and the elected Directors are sworn officers of the district.
The Community's infrastructure is located on land owned by, or by easement to, the AVPOA or the CSD. The governing documents consist of title papers, easements and agreements. The wastewater treatment plant is permitted by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board. The potable water system is permitted by Placer County and the State of California. These governmental bodies require ongoing quality control reporting and compliance with state and county requirements.
